Fair Novembre Fifth, Oh hallow’d day!
when folly’s reign did end, with wisdom’s ways.
Resum’d our borders, once in disarray,
to lawful order, holdin’ scallywags at bay.
From want-wit’s spendthrift ways; to sex misled,
return’d to Prudence; the toxic spread stopped dead.
Ay the yoemen, mugs and wags hath spoke,
dispatch’d the Wall-Eyed Folks w’th their votes.
Hence w’th each dawn we learn’th of our fate,
and pray this trauma doth not come too late.
